SUMMER CAMPS 2021 (In Person)

This year we are excited to be reopening our Summer Camps!! Regular Art Camp ages 5-12, Photography Camp ages 8-14.
For the first time in almost 2 years we will have a full 9 weeks of summer camp! However, we will have stricter protocols as listed below:
- Masks mandatory
- Physical distancing
- Screening upon arrival – you will also have to fill out a screening form and waiver before the camp week
- Outdoor pick up & drop off
- Small camp cohorts (maximum of 8 campers per week)
- Strict sanitization before and after each camp day
Camps will run from 9am-3:15pm, and this year we will not be offering before or aftercare due to COVID-19. We are excited to have you back in the studio and can’t wait to make amazing art with you all!! The art themes and weeks are listed below:
Week 1 (July 5th-9th): Wildlife Discovery
Week 2 (July 12th-16th): Superhero’s and Fairytales
Week 3 (July 19th-23rd): Out of the World (Outer Space)
Week 4 (July 26th-30th): Photography Camp
Week 5 (August 3rd-6th)*short week: Under the Sea
Week 6 (August 9th-13th): Around the World
Week 7 (August 16th-20th): Photography Camp
Week 8 (August 23rd-27th): Woodland Adventures
Week 9 (August 30th-September 3rd): Myths and Legends
Each day we make 5 projects! Please bring morning snack, lunch, sunscreen, and hand sanitizer (we will also have some here). Here is the breakdown of the day (art camp weeks):
9:00am-9:15am – Screening and Drop off
9:15am-10:10am – Project 1
10:15am-10:30am – Morning Snack (on nice days in the parkette by the church)
10:30am-11:20am – Project 2
11:20am-12:30pm – Project 3
12:30pm-1:30pm – Lunch + Park (Wildwood Crescent Park)
1:15pm-2:30pm – Project 4
2:30pm-3:15pm – Project 5
Photography Camp: We will be walking to each different location (beach, Taylor Creek Park, Gerrard India Bazaar…etc) – please bring clothing that is weather appropriate + good shoes! If you need a camera rental we will send out a form closer to the camp week!
